I'm Julie, but friends call me Jules. I met John when I moved down to London as a student. I am originally a Mancunian and finished my training as a teacher when I returned to Manchester. I am the head of Art at a local grant maintained technology college Sale High School online.

One of my favorite artists is Michelangelo; a highlight in the past few years was at Easter 1997, a week in Rome and a visit to the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel- it was an absolutely wonderful experience ! I also love the work of Magritte, and am fascinated by the Surrealists- Dali, in particular. We found a site with a good Artist Index which you can checkout online.

Other interests include, designing and modelling wedding and novelty cakes (just for friends and family), gardening (no-one to shout back at me), and drawing for my own pleasure.
