Instruction to Villa

Directions to Villa Font Xica.

After you have collected your please proceed to one of the Hertz Or Avis desks (see your voucher) situated at either end in the Baggage Reclamation Hall, at off peak periods only one may be open. You will need your car hire voucher and current driving licence (a pink UK or an International Licence). You will be asked to sign the rental agreement and required to pay a deposit of Ł35-Ł45 (then, now it will be in Euros, you will need a credit card for payment). Any items such as baby seats should be paid for on collection when you may also be offered Optional Personal Insurance (PAI) which is at your discretion.
Follow signs to Palma out of the airport, which brings you out onto the motorway (tollfree) towards Palma. After 5km, take exit 3 signed Via Cintura and Andraitx (the ring road motorway around Palma). After 3km, take the exit to "Inca" (not "Pont D'Inca" sign).
You are now on the motorway that will take you to the outskirts of Inca where it joins the main C713 road to Port D'Alcudia.
Continue to follow the signs to Port D'Alcudia (the road bypasses Inca). After approximately 12kms take the third exit off the large roundabout which is clearly signposted Pllenca and Puerto Pollenca.
After approx. 17kms you will reach Pollenca and again the road bypasses the town.
At the roundabout follow signs to Puert Pollenca and after 1km you will see a left turn to Cala San Vicente. Do not take this road, but stay on the main road for another 200m.
Turn right in front of a large STOP sign into a lane called "Cami de Cal Rei/Cami de Can Port" (small sign on right). You will also see an entrance with green gates and the sign "Desmontes y excavaciones Pollenca" on the left. Continue along this country lane for 1.1kms (bearing right at the sign for no through road and ignoring the entrance to a house of the same name on your left). When the road forks left and right (there is a house in front called "Can Escandeu" and a green rubbish bin on the right corner), take the left fork.
Follow road for another 200m and take the first turn left (house on the corner called "Font Xica Can Bravo"). Continue on this track bearing right and you will pass a house called "Can Melis". Continue straight on and turn right at the house "El Cosiolet". Another 200m on this narrow track just past a villa on your right you will see the sign "Font Xica" also on the right.
Turn right at the sign and continue to the end of the track; "Font Xica is on the left. Parking is available in front of the house for 2 or 3 cars.
Keys are either under the mat or the door will be open with the keys on the inside of the door.
Distance from Palma airport approx 57kms. Approx. driving time from airport: 1hr.
